INGREDIENTI
Rice
- 🍚 2 cups soaked rice
Fish
- 🐟 160g sea bream fillet
Vegetables
- 1 piece ginger, julienned
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Other
- 10cm dried kombu
- 1 tsp salad oil
- 💧 Water as needed
PASSI
Julienne the ginger.
Season the sea bream fillet with a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp sake, let it sit for 5 minutes, then pat dry with a paper towel.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat and sear the sea bream fillet on both sides until golden brown.
In a rice cooker, combine soaked rice, seasoning ingredients, and water up to the 2-cup mark. Flatten the rice, layer the ginger, kombu, and seared sea bream on top, then cook as usual.
After cooking, remove the sea bream and kombu. Flake the fish and mix it back into the rice gently. Serve with chopped green onion.
