INGREDIENTI
Main Ingredients
- 🍤 300g shrimp (with shells recommended)
- 1 tsp ginger juice
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp sake
- 🍬 a pinch of sugar
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- salad oil, as needed
Shrimp Preparation
- 🧂 a small amount of salt
- 1–2 tbsp potato starch
PASSI
Peel and devein the shrimp, then rinse thoroughly.
Mix shrimp with salt and potato starch for preparation, then rinse again.
Chop the shrimp into a paste or use a food processor.
Combine shrimp paste with ginger juice, fish sauce, sake, sugar, and potato starch. Mix well.
Form the mixture into small balls using your hands or a spoon.
Heat salad oil in a deep pan to 170–180°C (340–360°F).
Fry the shrimp balls until golden brown, about 3–5 minutes.
Drain the fried shrimp balls on paper towels and serve hot.
