INGREDIENTI
Main Ingredients
- 🍗 6 pieces chicken thighs
- 🧂 4 pinches salt
- To taste black pepper
- Enough olive oil to coat
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 🧄 15 cloves whole garlic
- 🧀 Optional grated cheese
Sauce Ingredients
- 🍋 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp hot sauce
- 2 tbsp whole grain mustard
- 🍯 4 tbsp honey
PASSI
Rinse chicken thighs and pat dry with paper towels.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
Coat the chicken with olive oil and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Prepare the sauce by mixing lemon juice, hot sauce, whole grain mustard, and honey.
Heat a pan with a little oil and fry whole garlic cloves until golden brown.
Place chicken skin-side down in the pan and cook on medium-low heat for 4-5 minutes.
Flip the chicken and cook for 1 more minute.
Pour the sauce over the chicken and simmer while basting.
Add the fried garlic to the pan and continue simmering.
Once the sauce reaches desired consistency, remove from heat and plate the chicken.
Optionally, grate cheese and garnish with shredded perilla leaves.
