INGREDIENTI
Vegetables
- 1/3 bag komatsuna
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion
Meat
- 🍗 150g chicken thigh
Oils
- 1 tsp salad oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Seasonings
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp chicken stock powder
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 💧 400ml water
Thickener
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 💧 1 tbsp water
PASSI
Cut the root off the komatsuna and slice into 3cm pieces. Slice the green onion diagonally into thin pieces.
Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Heat salad oil in a pot and cook the chicken skin-side down until browned on both sides over medium heat.
Add green onion and komatsuna stems, stir-frying until coated with oil.
Add the seasonings (soy sauce, salt and pepper, chicken stock powder, grated ginger, and water), cover, and simmer over medium-low heat for 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Add komatsuna leaves and the potato starch mixture, stirring to thicken. Cook over low heat for 1 minute, then drizzle sesame oil on top before serving.
