INGREDIENTI
Meat
- 12 slices (150g) pork belly
Vegetables
- 1/2 block (125g) konjac
Starch
- Potato starch, as needed
Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
PASSI
Cut the konjac into 6 equal pieces. Boil water in a pot, add the konjac, and cook for about 3 minutes. Drain and let cool.
Lay 2 slices of pork belly vertically, dust lightly with potato starch, and place a piece of konjac at one end. Roll tightly. Repeat to make 6 rolls.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the rolls seam-side down and cook, turning occasionally, until browned evenly. Wipe off excess oil and cover with a lid. Steam on low heat for about 2 minutes.
Increase heat to medium, add the seasoning mixture, and stir quickly until the rolls are glazed and coated.
