INGREDIENTI
Fish
- 🐟 2 fillets mackerel
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion
- 1 slice ginger
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- Enough flour for coating
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tsp chicken stock powder
- 💧 200 ml water
PASSI
Make small cuts in the mackerel, season with salt and pepper, let sit for 5 minutes, pat dry, and coat with flour.
Cut the green onion into 3 cm pieces and slice the ginger thinly.
Heat salad oil in a pan, place the mackerel skin-side down, and cook on medium heat until browned. Flip and add green onion, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
Add ginger and sauce ingredients (sake, soy sauce, gochujang, chicken stock powder, water). Simmer for 5-6 minutes on medium heat while spooning the sauce over the fish.
Remove the fish and vegetables, plate them, and boil the sauce on high heat until thickened. Pour over the mackerel.
