INGREDIENTI
Staple
- 🍚 2 bowls of cooked rice (300g)
Meat
- 🥩 250g thinly sliced pork belly
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp potato starch
Vegetables
- 🥬 3 cabbage leaves
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, sliced
- 🍅 4 mini tomatoes
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Liquids
- 1 tbsp sake
Sauce
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
PASSI
Thinly slice the cabbage and garlic.
Roll half the pork belly slices into a stick shape, repeat for the second roll.
Season the pork rolls with salt, pepper, and coat with potato starch.
Mix the sauce ingredients (sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup) in a bowl.
Heat salad oil in a pan, add garlic slices, and cook on low heat until golden brown. Remove garlic.
Place pork rolls seam-side down in the pan and cook on medium heat, turning until browned. Remove excess oil with a paper towel.
Add sake, cover, and steam on low heat for 6 minutes until cooked through.
Add the sauce mixture to the pan and coat the pork rolls evenly.
Slice the pork rolls into bite-sized pieces. Serve over rice with cabbage, garlic, and mini tomatoes. Optionally, drizzle leftover sauce.
