INGREDIENTI
Pastry
- 4 sheets frozen puff pastry (10cm x 20cm)
- 🥚 Beaten egg, as needed
Filling
- 🥚 6 boiled quail eggs
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 40g frozen mixed vegetables
Meat Mixture
- 300g ground meat
- 🥚 1 egg
- 20g breadcrumbs
- 🧀 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- Pepper, to taste
PASSI
Dice the red bell pepper into small pieces.
Mix all the meat mixture ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
Add the diced bell pepper, mixed vegetables, and boiled quail eggs to the meat mixture and gently combine.
Line the bottom of a baking mold with 2 sheets of puff pastry, slightly overlapping. Cut another sheet to fit the sides of the mold.
Fill the mold with the meat mixture, cover with the remaining puff pastry, and decorate with lattice strips made from excess pastry. Brush the surface with beaten egg.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40 minutes or until golden brown. Slice and serve.
