    • 🐟 1 fillet mackerel (80g)
  • Vegetables

    • 🧅 1/4 stalk green onion (green part)
    • 🌱 1/2 piece ginger, thinly sliced
  • Seasonings

    • 25cc sake
    • 50cc water
    • 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 3/4 tbsp miso

Cut the green onion in half lengthwise and slice the ginger thinly.

Make two cuts on the skin side of the mackerel. Place the mackerel skin-side up in a heatproof container, pour boiling water over it, let it sit for 10 seconds, then drain. Rinse the mackerel under water to clean off impurities and pat dry.

Add the seasonings (sake, water, sugar, soy sauce, miso) into the rice cooker pot and mix well. Place the mackerel, green onion, and ginger into the pot and cook using the normal rice cooking mode.
