INGREDIENTI
Karaage
- 🍗 120g chicken thigh
- 🧄 1/4 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 🧂 1 tbsp concentrated soy sauce
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Kinpira
- 80g sliced lotus root
- 🥕 40g sliced carrot
- 2 tsp mirin
- 🧂 2 tsp concentrated soy sauce
- Pinch of sliced chili
- Pinch of white sesame seeds
- 1 tsp sesame oil
PASSI
Cut chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Place chicken, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce in a plastic bag and massage well.
Add potato starch and flour to the bag, seal, and shake to coat evenly.
Spread chicken pieces on a foil-lined tray, drizzle with vegetable oil, and bake in a toaster oven for 15 minutes.
Slice lotus root and carrot thinly. Soak lotus root in water and drain well.
Mix all kinpira ingredients in a microwave-safe container.
Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes. Cool completely before packing into a bento box.
