INGREDIENTI
Chicken
- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
Coating
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp potato starch
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Sauce
- 🧅 1/2 stalk minced green onion
- 🧂 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Marinade
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
PASSI
Mince the green onion.
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Pat the chicken dry and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Combine marinade ingredients in a plastic bag.
Add chicken to the bag and massage well. Let sit for 15 minutes.
Add flour and potato starch to the bag. Seal and shake to coat chicken evenly.
Heat oil to 170°C and fry chicken for 4 minutes, flipping occasionally.
Remove chicken and let rest for 3 minutes. Heat oil to 180°C and fry again until crispy.
Drizzle the prepared sauce over the hot chicken.
