INGREDIENTI
Rice
- 🍚 2 cups soaked rice
Fish
- 🐟 2 cleaned sanma fish (220g)
Spices
- 1 piece sliced ginger
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 💧 350 ml water
Garnish
- 10g chopped kaiware sprouts
PASSI
Slice ginger thinly and chop kaiware sprouts into 1.5 cm pieces.
Cut sanma diagonally into halves, pat dry, and season with salt.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat, add sanma, and cook until golden brown on both sides. Remove from pan.
Add soaked rice and seasonings (sake, salt, soy sauce, water) to the pan, flatten evenly, and place sanma and ginger on top.
Cover and cook over medium heat until boiling, then reduce to low heat for 15 minutes. Finish with 30 seconds of high heat to evaporate excess moisture. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
Sprinkle kaiware sprouts on top before serving.
