INGREDIENTI
Meat
- 100g thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetables
- 3cm daikon, sliced
- 1/2 piece ginger, julienned
- 1/3 stalk green onion, chopped
Condiments
- 1 tsp salad oil
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 2 tbsp miso
Liquid
- 450cc water
PASSI
Cut pork belly into bite-sized pieces. Slice daikon into thin half-moons. Chop green onion and julienne ginger.
Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat and stir-fry pork belly until its color changes.
Add water, sake, dashi powder, ginger, and daikon to the pot. Bring to a gentle boil.
Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for 5–7 minutes until daikon becomes translucent.
Dissolve miso into the soup, add green onion, and warm through. Serve in bowls and optionally sprinkle with chili powder.
