- 🥔 7 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 🧈 5 cm butter
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 🧂 1 tsp salt
- 🍬 3 tbsp sugar
- A pinch of black pepper
- A pinch of parsley powder
PASSI
Peel the potatoes and chop them into large pieces. If you have baby potatoes, you can use them instead.
Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil and a chunk of butter in a frying pan until the butter melts.
Add the chopped potatoes to the pan once the butter is melted.
Sprinkle 1 tsp of salt evenly over the potatoes.
Cook the potatoes on medium-low heat, flipping them occasionally until golden brown and fully cooked. Check doneness by piercing with a chopstick; it should go through easily.
Sprinkle 3 tbsp of sugar evenly over the potatoes. Add more sugar if you prefer a sweeter taste.
Add a pinch of black pepper and mix well.
Finish by sprinkling a pinch of parsley powder for garnish.
