- 🍚 3 cups cooked rice
- 🐟 1 can tuna, drained
Sauce Ingredients
- 🍅 7 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 🍶 1 tbsp cooking wine
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 💧 100 ml water
- 🍯 2 tbsp honey or corn syrup
PASSI
In a large bowl, mix the cooked rice and drained tuna until well combined.
Shape the rice mixture into small, bite-sized balls using your hands.
In a small saucepan, combine ketchup, gochujang, cooking wine, minced garlic, water, and honey. Heat over medium heat until the sauce thickens slightly.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it. Place the rice balls in the pan and cook until they are golden brown on all sides.
Brush the prepared sauce over the rice balls evenly and cook for another 1-2 minutes to let the sauce caramelize slightly.
Serve the rice balls warm as a snack or side dish.
