INGREDIENTI
Fish
- 🐟 2 fillets mackerel
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/4 onion, minced
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, sliced
Liquids
- 🍷 150 ml white wine
Herbs & Spices
- 1 bay leaf
- Pinch of black pepper
- Chopped Italian parsley, as needed
Condiments
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp grain mustard
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
Bread
- 🥖 French baguette, as needed
PASSI
Mince the onion and soak it in water for 10 minutes. Drain and squeeze out excess water. Slice the garlic thinly.
Heat white wine, garlic, and bay leaf in a pot over medium heat.
Once boiling, add the mackerel fillets and cover with a drop lid. Simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes until cooked through. Remove the mackerel.
Remove the skin and bones from the mackerel. Place the flesh in a bowl and flake it.
Add the condiments (mayonnaise, mustard, salt) and minced onion to the bowl. Mix well.
Season with black pepper and garnish with Italian parsley. Serve with French baguette slices.
