INGREDIENTI
Main
- 🐟 200g salmon fillets
- 🧀 1 slice cheese
- 🥬 2 leaves lettuce
- 1 umeboshi (pickled plum)
- sufficient amount of salad oil
Batter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp potato starch
- 💧 3 tbsp cold water
PASSI
Slice the salmon fillets horizontally to create a pocket, but do not cut all the way through.
Place a slice of cheese and a piece of umeboshi inside the pocket of the salmon.
Mix the batter ingredients (flour, potato starch, and cold water) in a bowl until smooth.
Coat the salmon fillets lightly with the batter mixture.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat and pan-fry the salmon until golden brown on both sides.
Serve the fried salmon with lettuce leaves as garnish.
