INGREDIENTI

- 🐟 1 can (70g) tuna in oil
- 6 pieces (300g) satoimo
- 🥒 1/2 cucumber
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 🥫 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/2 tbsp mentsuyu (3x concentrated)
- Pinch of pepper
PASSI
Cut the cucumber into quarters lengthwise, then slice into 8mm pieces. Sprinkle with salt and massage gently. Let sit for 5 minutes, then squeeze out excess water.
Peel the satoimo and cut into bite-sized pieces. Sprinkle with a little salt (not listed) and rub to remove stickiness. Rinse thoroughly with water and drain. Place in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for about 5 minutes until tender.
While hot, mash the satoimo roughly with a fork and let cool slightly.
Mix the mashed satoimo with mayonnaise, mentsuyu, and pepper. Add the tuna and cucumber, then mix well.
