- 🧅 1 medium onion (200g), sliced

Cut the onion in half lengthwise, remove the core, and slice into 1cm wide strips.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add butter, and let it melt. Add the onion and sauté for about 2 minutes until softened.
Add soy sauce and stir to combine. Turn off the heat, add bonito flakes, and toss to coat evenly.
