- 16 shishito peppers
Cooking Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
Seasoning
- A pinch of bonito flakes
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp yuzu kosho
PASSI
Trim the stems off the shishito peppers and make a vertical slit in each.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the shishito peppers, and stir-fry for about 1 minute until slightly browned. Add the seasoning ingredients and stir quickly.
Plate the peppers and sprinkle bonito flakes on top.
