INGREDIENTI
Meat
- 500g pork shoulder block
Egg
- 🥚 4 soft-boiled eggs
Vegetable
- 🧅 1 stalk green onion (green parts)
- Boiled bok choy, as needed
Seasoning
- 50cc sake
- 50cc mirin
- 🧂 4 tbsp sugar
- 100cc soy sauce
- 🧄 1 tsp grated garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 200cc water
PASSI
Pierce both sides of the pork with a fork to tenderize.
Heat a frying pan and sear the pork on all sides until browned.
Mix all seasoning ingredients in the rice cooker pot, add the pork and green onion, and start the regular cooking cycle.
After cooking, flip the pork and reserve 100cc of the cooking liquid. Keep the pork warm for 2 hours.
Place the soft-boiled eggs and reserved cooking liquid in a storage bag, remove air, and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Slice the pork into serving sizes and plate with the marinated eggs and boiled bok choy.
