INGREDIENTI

- 🥔 2 medium-sized potatoes
- 🧅 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 green chili (optional)
Seasoning
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
PASSI
Peel the potatoes, cut them into bite-sized pieces, and soak them in cold water for 10 minutes to remove excess starch.
Chop the onion and prepare the seasoning by mixing soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and black pepper.
Heat a pan with a little oil, add the potatoes, and stir-fry until their surface becomes slightly transparent.
Add 1 cup of water and the prepared seasoning to the pan. Cover and simmer until the potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
If using onion or green chili, add them once the potatoes are cooked and simmer for a few more minutes.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Add more soy sauce for saltiness or water to dilute if too strong.
