INGREDIENTI

- 🍗 1 pack of chicken drumsticks
- 🧅 1 onion, sliced
- 3 green chilies, chopped
Seasonings
- 6-7 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons mirin
- 1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 4 tablespoons corn syrup
- 200 ml water
- 1.5 tablespoons gochujang
- 3 tablespoons chopped green onion
PASSI
Slice the onion and chop the green chilies. Set aside.
Blanch the chicken drumsticks in boiling water for 20 seconds, then rinse under cold water and drain.
Place the chicken drumsticks in a frying pan. Add sliced onion, chopped chilies, and all seasonings (soy sauce, mirin, garlic, chili powder, black pepper, oyster sauce, ketchup, corn syrup, water, gochujang, and green onion). Mix well.
Cover the pan and cook on high heat until boiling. Reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for 25 minutes, occasionally basting the chicken with the sauce and flipping the drumsticks.
Check the seasoning and adjust to taste. Optionally, add rice cakes or top with melted cheese before serving.
