Main Ingredients
- 🍗 2 chicken thighs
- 🥛 Milk to cover chicken
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 20 rice cakes
- 🍠 1/2 sweet potato
- 4 perilla leaves
- 🧀 Cheese to taste
Sauce Ingredients
- 2 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 🧄 0.5 tbsp minced garlic
- 0.5 tbsp sesame oil
- 🧂 0.5 tbsp sugar
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- Pinch of black pepper
- 0.5 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
PASSI
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl: gochujang, chili powder, minced garlic, sesame oil, sugar, soy sauce, mirin, black pepper, curry powder, and corn syrup.
Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. If frozen, thaw first.
Soak chicken in milk for 10 minutes, then marinate in the sauce for 20 minutes.
In a pan, stir-fry marinated chicken and sweet potato until sweet potato starts to soften.
Add boiled rice cakes, perilla leaves, and onion to the pan. Continue stir-frying.
Once onion turns translucent, transfer everything to a serving dish.
Top with cheese to taste and serve hot.
