INGREDIENTI
Main Ingredients
- 2 pieces koya tofu
- 8 slices thinly sliced pork belly (150g)
- 2 green peppers
Coating
- Potato starch as needed
Cooking Oil
- 1 tsp and 1 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp miso
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tsp doubanjiang
PASSI
Soak koya tofu in lukewarm water to rehydrate, squeeze out excess water, and cut into quarters. Slice green peppers into bite-sized pieces.
Dust thinly sliced pork belly with potato starch and wrap around the koya tofu pieces.
Mix all ☆ seasonings (miso, soy sauce, mirin, doubanjiang) in a bowl.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add 1 tsp of salad oil, and lightly stir-fry the green peppers. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, add 1 tbsp of salad oil and cook the pork-wrapped tofu over medium heat until browned on all sides. Wipe off excess oil from the pan.
Add sake, cover the pan, and steam for 2–3 minutes until the pork is fully cooked.
Add the green peppers and the prepared ☆ sauce. Stir to coat and simmer until the sauce thickens.
