- 🦐 4 shell-on shrimp
Vegetables
- 1 bag (about 250g) bean sprouts
- 1 piece julienned ginger
- A pinch of chopped green onion
- A pinch of shredded seaweed
Protein
- 100g fried tofu
Seasonings
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/4 tsp mustard paste
Shrimp Marinade
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- 1 tsp sake
- 1 tsp potato starch
PASSI
Clean the shrimp and marinate with salt, sake, and potato starch.
Prepare the bean sprouts, fried tofu, and julienned ginger.
Mix soy sauce, mirin, sake, sesame oil, water, mustard paste, and salt to create the sauce.
Layer the bean sprouts, tofu, and shrimp in a steamer. Add ginger on top.
Steam for 15 minutes until the shrimp turns pink and the tofu absorbs the flavors.
Garnish with chopped green onion and shredded seaweed before serving.
