INGREDIENTI
Vegetables
- 🧅 2 whole onions
- 🥬 2 cabbage leaves
- 🌱 20g frozen shelled edamame
Meat
- 🐖 100g ground pork
Seasonings
- 1 tsp chicken stock powder
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
- 🧂 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Liquid
- 💧 200cc water
PASSI
Cut the top and bottom of the onions, then scoop out the center with a spoon. Finely chop the scooped-out onion.
In a bowl, mix ground pork, chopped onion, and all seasoning ingredients until sticky. Add edamame and mix further.
Stuff the onion cavities evenly with the pork mixture.
Line a pot with cabbage leaves, place the stuffed onions on top, add water and chicken stock powder, and heat over medium heat.
Once boiling, cover with a lid and steam over low heat for 30 minutes until the onions are tender and the pork is cooked through.
