INGREDIENTI
Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls (300g) warm rice
Seafood
- 1 mentaiko (pollock roe)
- 2 crab sticks
Egg
- 🥚 4 eggs
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
- Shredded nori, as needed
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 300ml water
Thickener
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 💧 1 tbsp water
PASSI
Cut open the mentaiko and extract the roe.
In a pot, combine sake, mirin, soy sauce, dashi powder, and water. Bring to a boil, then add mentaiko and simmer briefly. Add the potato starch slurry and cook for 1 minute to thicken.
In a bowl, crack the eggs, shred the crab sticks into the bowl, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook, stirring gently, until semi-cooked.
Place warm rice in a serving bowl, top with the cooked eggs, and pour the mentaiko sauce over. Garnish with green onion and shredded nori.
