Seasoning

- Pinch of pepper

- 🌱 8 asparagus stalks
- 🧅 1/2 onion, minced

- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 🥛 3 tbsp milk
- 🥚 1 egg
Sauce
- 2 tbsp tonkatsu sauce
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp sake

Trim the asparagus ends and cut them in half. Slice the thicker ends into 5–7mm pieces.
Mince the onion finely.
In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk to moisten.
Mix the sauce ingredients in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely, and heat at 600W for 40 seconds. Stir well.
In a bowl, mix ground meat, salt, and pepper until sticky. Add minced onion and the breadcrumb mixture, then mix thoroughly.
Add the egg and mix well. Incorporate the chopped asparagus pieces evenly.
Spread the mixture in a frying pan and arrange asparagus tips in a radial pattern, embedding them slightly.
Cook over medium heat until browned, then cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Serve with the prepared sauce.
