Wrapper
- 6 sheets spring roll wrappers
Vegetable
- 🌱 6 thick asparagus spears (120g)
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Binder
- 1/2 tbsp flour
- 💧 1/2 tbsp water
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt

Trim the ends of the asparagus and peel the lower half with a peeler.
Lay out one spring roll wrapper, place an asparagus spear on it, and roll it tightly. Seal the edge with the flour-water mixture. Repeat for all 6 spears. Cut each roll into 4 pieces and skewer 4 pieces onto bamboo sticks.
Heat 1 cm of salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C. Fry the skewers, turning occasionally, until golden brown (about 5 minutes).
Plate the skewers and sprinkle with salt before serving.
