- 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (300g)
- 🥓 12 slices bacon
- 🧀 4 slices processed cheese
- 5 shiso leaves, sliced
- 1/2 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧈 20g salted butter

Slice shiso leaves thinly.
Mix cooked rice with sliced shiso leaves, sesame seeds, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
Shape the rice mixture into small oval-shaped portions.
Place a strip of cheese on top of each bacon slice, then wrap the rice portions with the bacon.
Place the wrapped rice seam-side down in a frying pan and cook until the bacon is evenly browned.
Remove the wrapped rice from the pan. Add sake, mirin, soy sauce, and butter to the pan, simmer until thickened, then pour over the bacon-wrapped rice.
