Meat
- 🥩 200g sliced beef
Vegetables
- 200g yam, sliced into half moons
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, minced
Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- Pinch of sansho pepper
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 200ml water

Slice the yam into half moons, bell peppers into strips, and mince the garlic.
Heat sesame oil and garlic in a pan over low heat until fragrant. Add beef and season with salt and pepper, cooking until browned.
Add yam slices and stir briefly. Pour in the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, soy sauce, water) and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes.
Add bell peppers and stir. Cook until the liquid reduces. Sprinkle sansho pepper and mix briefly before serving.
