- 200g ground meat
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, minced
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Dry Ingredients
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp cornstarch
Liquid Ingredients
- 🥛 3 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 150ml water
Seasonings
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp doubanjiang (for meat mixture)
- 1/2 tsp doubanjiang (for sauce)
- 2 tbsp tianmianjiang
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp black sesame paste

- 2 tsp salad oil

Mince the onion and microwave it in a heatproof container covered with plastic wrap for 1 minute at 600W. Let it cool.
In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs and milk to moisten.
Combine ground meat, salt, and doubanjiang in a bowl. Mix until sticky, then add the onion and breadcrumb mixture. Divide into two portions and shape into oval patties.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the patties until browned on one side, then flip. Cover with a lid and cook on low heat for 8 minutes until fully cooked.
Remove the patties and wipe excess oil from the pan. Add sauce ingredients (sake, tianmianjiang, soy sauce, ginger, doubanjiang, black sesame paste, and water) and simmer for 1 minute. Add cornstarch slurry to thicken. Serve the patties with sauce and garnish with green onions.
