Protein
- 🍗 8 chicken wings (480g)
Vegetables
- 300g daikon, sliced
- 4 slices ginger
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Condiments
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 💧 200ml water

Pat dry the chicken wings and make cuts along the bone.
Cut the daikon into half-moon slices, about 1cm thick.
Heat salad oil in a pan and sear the chicken wings over medium-low heat until browned.
Add the daikon to the pan and stir-fry for about 3 minutes over medium-low heat.
Add ginger and the seasoning mixture (sake, mirin, sugar, water), then bring to a boil. Cover and simmer over medium-low heat for 10 minutes.
Add soy sauce and mix well. Cook over medium heat for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onions.
