- 4 slices boneless ham
- 🧀 4 slices melting cheese
- 8 basil leaves
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Coating
- Flour as needed
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Tomato Sauce
- 🍅 1 tomato, diced
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste

Dice the tomato into 1cm cubes.
Cut the melting cheese slices in half.
Make a horizontal slit in each slice of boneless ham.
Stuff each ham slice with 2 basil leaves and half a slice of cheese. Coat with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs in order. Prepare 4 stuffed ham cutlets.
Heat 3 tbsp of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pan-fry the cutlets until golden brown and crispy. Serve on a plate.
For the tomato sauce: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a frying pan. Add diced tomato and grated garlic. Cook over medium heat until the liquid evaporates. Season with salt and pepper.
Pour the tomato sauce over the fried ham cutlets.
