Main Ingredients
- 🍗 200g chicken mince
- 200g lotus root
- 🧅 10cm green onion
- 1 tbsp potato starch
Meat Mixture Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp potato starch
Combined Seasoning
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp white sesame seeds

Cut the lotus root into 12 equal pieces and soak in water. Drain and pat dry. Sprinkle potato starch on one side. Mince the green onion.
Mix the combined seasoning ingredients in a bowl.
In another bowl, combine chicken mince, green onion, and meat mixture seasoning. Mix until sticky.
Place 1/6 of the meat mixture on the starch-sprinkled side of a lotus root slice and sandwich with another slice. Repeat to make 6 sandwiches.
Arrange the sandwiches on a microwave-safe plate and pour the combined seasoning over them. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 7 minutes. Flip and microwave for another 2 minutes.
