- 🐚 200g clams (shell-on, sand removed)
Vegetables
- 200g canned bamboo shoots
- 100g shelled broad beans
- 🧅 1 minced onion (about 180g)
Meat
- 🥓 100g block bacon

- 🍚 2 cups rice

- 🍷 1/2 cup white wine
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt

Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe pan over medium heat. Add minced onion and sauté until translucent.
Add diced bacon and cook until slightly crispy.
Add rice to the pan and stir to coat with oil and bacon fat.
Pour in white wine and cook until mostly absorbed.
Add clams, bamboo shoots, and broad beans evenly over the rice.
Season with salt and pour in enough water to cover the rice. Bring to a boil.
Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the rice is fully cooked and liquid is absorbed.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
