Rice
- 🍚 2 cups soaked rice
Seafood
- 🐚 12 clams, sand removed
Vegetables
- 1/2 bunch nanohana
Seasoning
- 1 piece kombu
- 💧 Water as needed
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp soy sauce

Place clams, enough water to cover them, and kombu in a pot. Heat over medium and skim off foam. Once clams open, remove them and let cool. Separate clam meat from shells and strain the broth.
Add rice, strained clam broth, seasonings (sake, mirin, salt, soy sauce), and water up to the 2-cup line in a rice cooker. Mix lightly and cook as usual.
Boil water in a pot and blanch nanohana until its color changes. Drain, squeeze out excess water, and cut into 1 cm pieces.
Once rice is cooked, mix in clam meat and nanohana pieces evenly.
