- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1 tsp cornstarch

Pierce the surface of the pork belly block with a fork. Place it in a plastic bag, add all seasoning ingredients, and massage well. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Transfer the pork belly block to a microwave-safe container, draining excess marinade. Microwave at 600W for 4 minutes without covering. Flip the pork and microwave for another 3 minutes. Let it cool to room temperature to finish cooking with residual heat. Slice into bite-sized pieces.
