- 100g burdock root, thinly sliced
Seafood
- 3 sheets of quick-cooking kombu
Meat
- 100g thinly sliced pork loin
Miscellaneous
- kampyo, as needed
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 200ml water

Soak the kombu in water to soften. Cut the burdock into thirds and soak in water, then drain.
Wash the kampyo, rub with 1 tsp salt, and rinse. Boil the kampyo for 3 minutes until soft, then drain.
Lay out the kombu, place 2 slices of pork on top, and wrap around the burdock. Secure with kampyo ties at two points.
In a pot, heat the seasoning mixture (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, and water). Add the rolls, cover with a drop lid, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
Let the rolls cool slightly, cut in half, and serve.
