Chicken
- 🍗 300g chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 🧅 1 onion, 200g
- 🧄 1 clove garlic
- 1 piece ginger
Dairy
- 🧈 30g salted butter
- 🥛 200g unsweetened yogurt
Spices
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 🧄 1 tsp ground garlic
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp cumin powder
Canned Goods
- 🍅 400g canned chopped tomatoes
Seasonings
- 1 tsp consomme
- 💧 200ml water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp sugar
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 🧂 Pinch of pepper

- 🍞 4 pieces naan

Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Place in a bag with yogurt, curry powder, ground garlic, ground ginger, and salt and pepper. Massage and marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Finely chop onion and ginger. Mince garlic after removing its core.
Heat butter in a pot over low heat. Add onion, garlic, and ginger, sauté until onion becomes translucent. Add cumin and curry powder, stir well.
Add canned tomatoes, consomme, water, and marinated chicken with its marinade. Add bay leaf, cover, and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes until chicken is tender.
Season with sugar, salt, and pepper. Serve with naan on the side.
