Rice
- 🍚 1 cup of washed rice
Meat
- 🥩 200g pork belly block
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/3 teaspoon of salt
- A pinch of pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon of salad oil
- 💧 Enough water to reach the rice cooker line
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
- A pinch of shichimi togarashi
- Pickled ginger, as needed
Sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sake
- 1 teaspoon of mirin
- 🍬 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 🧂 1 tablespoon of soy sauce

Rub salt and pepper into the pork belly, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan, add the pork belly, and sear it on medium heat until browned on all sides.
Place the washed rice, sauce ingredients, and water into the rice cooker, mix well, and flatten the rice. Place the seared pork belly on top and start the regular cooking cycle.
