- 200g pork belly block
Vegetables
- 🥔 2 medium potatoes (300g)
- 🧅 1 green onion (green part)
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
Garnish
- 🧅 5cm green onion (15g)

Cut potatoes into large bite-sized pieces, soak in water, and drain. Place in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 6-7 minutes. Slice garnish green onion into thin strips and soak in water, then drain.
Cut pork belly into 2cm wide pieces, then halve each piece.
Place pork, green onion (green part), and water in a microwave-safe container until pork is submerged. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 5 minutes. Rinse under running water and drain.
Mix seasonings in a microwave-safe container, add pork and coat evenly. Let sit for 10 minutes. Add potatoes and mix. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes. Stir, cover again, and microwave for another 3 minutes. Let sit covered for 15 minutes to cool slightly.
Serve on a plate and garnish with sliced green onion.
