Vermicelli
- 40g vermicelli
Meat
- 150g ground pork
Vegetables
- 4 shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 1 pack sliced bamboo shoots
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasonings
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp chicken stock powder
- 150ml water

Drain the bamboo shoots and slice the shiitake mushrooms.
Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a pan, add ground pork, grated ginger, and grated garlic, and stir-fry over medium heat until the pork changes color.
Add shiitake mushrooms and bamboo shoots to the pan, stir briefly, then add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, soy sauce, chicken stock powder, and water). Bring to a boil and add vermicelli. Simmer on low heat for 5-7 minutes until the vermicelli softens.
Add the remaining 1 tbsp sesame oil, serve in a bowl, and garnish with chopped green onion.
