Sesame Sauce
- 1 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 1/2 tbsp concentrated soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil

Trim the tips of the okra and remove the calyx. Rub the okra with 1/3 tsp salt on a cutting board (board rubbing). Wash with water and pat dry.

Boil water in a pot, add the okra, and cook for about 1 minute. Cool in cold water, then drain and cut into diagonal quarters.
