Cut the corn kernels off the cob and set the cob aside.
Heat half of the salad oil (1/2 tsp) in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the salted salmon and cook until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
Wipe the pan clean with a paper towel, add the remaining salad oil (1/2 tsp), and heat over medium. Add the corn kernels and sauté until browned. Drizzle in soy sauce (1/2 tsp) and stir until well combined.
In a rice cooker, add the soaked rice, seasonings (sake, salt, soy sauce), and water up to the 1-cup mark. Mix well and level the rice. Add the sautéed corn, corn cob, and cooked salmon on top. Start the rice cooker.
Once cooked, remove the salmon and corn cob. Discard the salmon skin and bones, then flake the salmon. Return the salmon to the rice cooker and mix well. Add butter and stir until melted and evenly distributed.
