- 2 pieces mochi (100g)
- 1 piece pollock roe (50g)
- 🥬 1 bag spinach (200g)
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Batter
- 🥚 1 egg
- 6 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp potato starch
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- 75 ml water
Sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp white sesame seeds

Cut mochi into 1.5 cm cubes. Wash spinach and remove excess water.
Slice pollock roe into 1 cm pieces.
Boil water in a pot, add salt, and blanch spinach briefly. Cool in water, squeeze dry, and cut into 3-4 cm pieces.
Mix sauce ingredients (sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame seeds) in a bowl.
In another bowl, beat the egg and mix with flour, potato starch, salt, and water. Add mochi, pollock roe, and spinach, and combine.
Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Pour batter and spread evenly.
Cover and cook on medium-low heat for 8 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Add remaining sesame oil around the edges and cook on high heat until crispy.
Cut into pieces, plate, and serve with the sauce.
