Vegetables
- 🥬 1/2 bunch spinach
Cheese / Dairy
- 🧀 30g shredded pizza cheese
Oil
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Batter
- 🥚 1 egg
- 💧 2 tbsp water
- 🌾 60g all-purpose flour
- 🧂 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
Sauce
- 1 tbsp ponzu sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- to taste chili oil

Wash spinach, wrap in plastic, and microwave at 600W for 90 seconds. Rinse with water, drain, trim roots, and cut into 1cm pieces.
Mix all sauce ingredients (ponzu, sesame oil, chili oil) in a bowl.
In a bowl, beat the egg and mix with water, flour, soy sauce, and dashi powder. Add spinach and mix well.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan, pour batter into a round shape, and top with shredded cheese. Cover and cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook on low heat for 2-3 minutes.
Serve on a plate with the sauce on the side.
