Bread
- 🍞 4 slices of sandwich bread
Oil
- Olive oil as needed
- 5 tbsp vegetable oil
Egg
- 🥚 1 beaten egg
Breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Filling
- 🍅 6 cherry tomatoes, halved
- 🌽 2 tbsp frozen corn
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 🧀 40g pizza cheese
단계
Trim the crusts off the sandwich bread and lightly roll them flat with a rolling pin.
Remove the stems from the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half.
In a bowl, mix the filling ingredients (cherry tomatoes, corn, ketchup, mayonnaise, basil, and cheese).
Spread a thin layer of olive oil on each slice of bread. Place 1/4 of the filling mixture on one side of each slice, fold the bread in half, and press the edges closed with a fork. Repeat for all slices.
Brush both sides of the folded bread with beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the bread on both sides until golden brown.
