Vegetables
- 150g lotus root, sliced
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Meat
- 150g thinly sliced pork belly
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp miso
- 1/2 tbsp mayonnaise

Slice the lotus root into 1cm pieces and soak in water to remove excess starch. Drain well.
Cut the pork belly into 4cm wide strips.
Mix the seasoning ingredients (sake, sugar, miso, mayonnaise) in a bowl until well combined.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the pork belly and stir-fry until the meat changes color.
Add the lotus root to the pan and stir-fry until cooked through. Pour in the mixed seasonings and stir-fry until the flavors are well absorbed.
Plate the dish and garnish with chopped green onion. Serve immediately.
